This was a collaborative project between JONDO and its creative agency at the time, R&W Creative, who developed the concept. The idea was to hang 40×60 canvases around parts of L.A. that anybody off the street would be allowed to grab and take home. This effort to “democratize art” was meant to create awareness around the JONDO name and its high quality prints. The Art Heist gained a little traction, including being picked up by My Modern Met.
For this project, I shot the photography used for the printed canvases as well as shot and edited the final video documenting the concept.
